She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola College in Baltimore in 2001. She began her career at Shore Health System, where she supported patients across all five floors of the hospital. Since 2015, Amy has been a key provider at Peace of Mind Mental Health Services, specializing in the treatment of adults with chronic mental health conditions and addictions. She is especially passionate about helping clients understand and implement healthy boundaries and is known for offering each individual the validation and respect they deserve. In recognition of her unwavering commitment and compassion, Amy was honored with the Caliber Award for Unsung Hero in 2025 by Mid-Shore Behavioral Health.

Over the years she has had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult and vulnerable times. Guided by both her clinical expertise and life experiences, Dee strives to create a warm and welcoming environment grounded in compassion, acceptance, and understanding. She believes that change and growth occurs only when the client feels safe within the confidential and unique relationship between the client and therapist. He currently serves as a school-based therapist at Easton Middle School, supporting students in grades 6 through 8. In this role, Eric works closely with school staff, parents, guardians, and other members of a student’s support system to address concerns and promote overall well-being. Eric takes a person-centered approach to therapy, tailoring services to each client’s unique goals and circumstances. He is committed to empowering individuals throughout the therapeutic process, respecting their autonomy while offering compassionate guidance and support. With deep empathy and cultural sensitivity, Eric creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients and families can openly explore their needs and goals. Drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based strategies, and Solution-Focused Therapy—Eric adapts his methods to best serve each client. He works collaboratively to identify challenges, develop insight, and implement interventions that align with individual needs and promote meaningful growth. With a unique specialization in the integration of body, mind, and spirit, Wala-Neh takes a holistic approach to healing, helping individuals, couples, and families achieve lasting wellness. His therapeutic work is grounded in a deep understanding of family dynamics and relationship systems, making him a trusted expert in family therapy and couples counseling. Beyond traditional therapy settings, Wala-Neh has served as an expert witness in child custody and reunification cases, bringing his clinical expertise to the legal system. As an ordained minister, he offers Christian counseling, and as a certified health and nutrition life coach, he supports clients in developing healthy lifestyles that nurture both mental and physical well-being. Wala-Neh is deeply committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and empowering environment where clients can heal, grow, and build stronger connections. Following retirement, Jay sought a career that would allow him to apply the skills he developed in the military in a new and meaningful way. This led him to pursue Social Work at Salisbury University, where he earned his MSW. Jay specializes in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and providing family and couples therapy. He believes therapy is most effective when a warm, open, and trusting environment is established between client and therapist. He encourages an atmosphere of nonjudgmental curiosity, helping clients feel safe enough to explore whatever brings them to therapy. Jay is honored to support clients as they navigate the challenges, triumphs, tragedies, and joys that life presents.

Kirby is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, mothers, and individuals experiencing perinatal mental health challenges. She utilizes a person-centered, strength-based approach in her practice and is currently serving youth in a school-based setting, where she continues to advocate for mental health awareness and early intervention.

Michaelyn earned her Master of Social Work degree from The Catholic University of America in 1994. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Maryland and the District of Columbia, and has been supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges for over 20 years. Michaelyn is dedicated to helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals facing fertility issues, prenatal and postnatal loss, depression, and anxiety. Michaelyn also works closely with young adults as they transition to university life and prepare to launch into the post-college world. She has a deep affinity for working with those who have experienced suicide loss, offering compassionate and understanding support grounded in both personal and professional experience. Her life experience, combined with her clinical expertise, allows Michaelyn to approach her work from a trauma-informed and attachment-based perspective. She is well-versed in crisis management and practices from a strengths-based lens. Her therapeutic approach is holistic and solution-focused, incorporating elements of mindfulness, physical activity, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). In sessions, Michaelyn works collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their goals, build effective coping strategies, and create a meaningful vision for their lives. Outside the office, Michaelyn enjoys spending time outdoors adventuring with her husband, four children, and their Labrador retriever.

During her service across fourteen countries, she worked alongside diverse teams and developed a strong appreciation for person-first approaches, cultural humility, and was drawn to social work because of her desire to help others. While relatively new to the Eastern Shore, Kaci is delighted to call Maryland home and is excited to contribute to the community.

Over the past 10 years, she has continued her work as a therapist here on the Eastern Shore, helping clients with a wide range of concerns, from anxiety and depression to grief, trauma, and relationship issues. She is trained in several evidence-based and expressive therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), sand tray therapy and play therapy.
